Unilecsa Industrial Office Interior Design
Dandy Lion Interior Experiences was tasked with designing the corporate offices for Unilecsa, a leading South African industrial supplies company. The brief was to create a workspace that would reflect the company’s heritage in manufacturing and distribution while providing a modern, efficient environment for its growing team.
Our design embraces the brand’s industrial identity rather than hiding it. Exposed structural elements, steel-framed glass partitions and polished concrete surfaces pay homage to the company’s core business, while ergonomic furniture, warm timber finishes and carefully zoned breakout areas ensure staff comfort and wellbeing. The reception area makes a bold first impression with a feature wall incorporating actual product samples as design elements.
The open-plan workspace is organised into collaborative neighbourhoods connected by a central circulation spine. Private offices and meeting rooms line the perimeter, benefiting from natural light while acoustic glass panels maintain visual connectivity. A staff kitchen and lounge area was designed as a destination space, encouraging informal interaction and team cohesion.
