Vencasa Luxury Mattress Store Design
Dandy Lion Interior Experiences designed the Vencasa luxury mattress store, a high-end retail concept dedicated to premium European sleep brands. Vencasa required an interior that would communicate exclusivity and craftsmanship, positioning the store as a destination for discerning customers seeking the finest sleep products available in Africa.
Our design concept draws on the refined aesthetics of a luxury boutique hotel suite. Rich, dark timbers, plush wall-to-wall carpeting and layered fabric treatments create an atmosphere of intimate sophistication. Each mattress display is styled as a curated bedroom setting, complete with premium linens, scatter cushions and bedside accessories, allowing customers to experience the full luxury of each product.
Lighting was a critical design element. A warm, low-lux ambient scheme replicates evening conditions, helping customers relax and genuinely test each mattress in comfort. Concealed accent lighting within each display niche highlights product details and brand storytelling panels. The consultation area features deep lounge seating and a beverage service, reinforcing the premium, unhurried retail experience.
